Me too. Still happy with the money i'm saving.
God that's bad.
Damn. That preview was just adorable. Can't wait for next week!
Could it be Paul? He could be the Grating Goblin who just annoys everyone... or the Gaseous Goblin who farts all the time... or the Godforsaken Goblin who nobody wants...
I was worried when Brevoort was announced... and unfortunately, for me and my tastes, I was right to be worried.
Oh well, more money to keep in my pocket I guess.
Peter and William, sitting in a (sand) tree... K.I.S.S.I.N.G!
It bugs me that most "Sci-Fi" is actually space fantasy/space opera or licensed IP stuff. I'd love to see more thoughtful and "hard" sci-fi stuff out there.
That's pretty much the way I feel about this. The book isn't bad but I think it was a mistake leading a new Ultimate X-Men book like this.

Exactly. For writers to become respected and admired they need to do good work that others respect and admire. Before Gerry Conway became a well-respected comic writer, he was just a guy doing his...
That's a perfect description.
That is a very well-written review... brutal as hell. Damn but Marvel really screwed the pooch on this one didn't they?
I'd go back to the New Hollywood period:
The "Squeal like a pig" scene from Deliverance.
Pick a scene, almost any scene, from Midnight Express.
The broken legs scene from The Deer Hunter.
And...
Many thanks to you and your team for fighting the good fight!
This was so damn good.
So. Damn. Good.
I'm going to definitely work, "Well pierce my ears and call me drafty..." into a conversation soon.
At this point, maybe Wells should go full-on Grant Morrison from his Animal Man run and have Peter realize he's a character in a comic book being written by a sadist who hates him.
So, honest solicitations for the aftermath should be something like, "Now that everyone except Peter has resolved the conflict, Peter's life is worse than ever. In this very special issue, Peter...
