Is it too much to ask for some kick ass moments from Rachel?
I wonder if it's setup that Rachel knew Xavier was going to kill her then? If that's part of the Phoenix manifest stuff
Are they in the white hot room?
As for X-Force, I like Rachel and Betsy together, but always prefer it when couples are on seperate teams.
We don't get enough Rachel in general for my liking, so I will take any time Rachel gets to flex her powers.
They're hardly going to adapt the Askani stuff are they.
Have a bad feeling that Rachel is going to get hung out to dry on this.
She's definitely going to let Mother Righteousness out isnt she
Although I'm not averse to Rachel saving Cyclops though. But that probably won't be it
Really happy that Rachel gets to be fairly prominent in a role at last. Her costume looks great too.
There's no way Rachel believes Xavier
Oh, I really hope Rachel isn't just a plot device to send people through time.
Looking at the Jean Grey preview, there's a small image of Rachel. I'd love if when Hope is exploring the WHR, there's a section she can't get into because that's Rachel's area. Like give us something
I don't post here much, but I do try and see how Rachel is getting on. I agree about all the revisions to DoFP though. I've never liked any of them
She's called Rachel Anne Summers in X-Men True Friends #3
Except it's made clear it's a psychic attack because Rachel was afraid of pushing her powers. It's all explained in the issue. It's lazy writing though.
That's not what a Deus Ex Machina is. Already established that the Sentinels are weak to psychic attacks. It might be lazy writing tbf. Goal seemed to be to change Rachel.
It's all very safe. Like an episode of Star Trek: Voyager.
I thought it would have been interesting to have Rachel appear out of the shadows and Logan thinking it was Jean for a few minutes. Then you see Rachel's hound marks or she gets introduced as Rachel.
Rachel improved from that time with Emma during the space arc. Not sure why everyone goes back to that?
It should have been Rachel but yeah fine make it Jean.
Wolverine later said he should had let Rachel kill Selene. He was a hypocrite. His actions later on in X-Force proved that.
I liked Rachel's look with her marks because it gave her a visual identity different to Jean. They were her own and stood out. I don't have a problem with a chance in direction so willing to wait.
Aaaah Rachel. The name and the tats are the biggest issues. Costume is kinda generic I guess. I did like how he wrote her during that space arc so cautiously optimistic.
Though he keeps mentioning...
Incorrect. Rachel had the full force. Made explicit in Excalibur when Galactus tries to remove the Phoenix from her and again in True Friends.
"Living Embodiment of ONE of the Primal Forces"
The second you mention that he was a baby and brought to the future, you need Rachel who brought him to the future!
Which is no different from Rachel being the time travelling daughter of Jean too. Not that difficult!
