DC has made it clear that character and story are a distant second to nonsensical action.

It's lensed like a 2nd-rate 300 sequel (i.e., the 2nd-rate 300 sequel)...

And that line "Do you bleed?..." It reminds me, in tone and delivery, of that awful line...

I love Ostrander, and I purchased most issues of the original Suicide Squad, but I never felt the book quite worked.

Eek. I couldn't disagree more. Her scene-chewy overacting is more than I can handle, whether it be her work in comedy or drama, she's exactly the same.

This choice makes this series a HUGE pass...
