I would have liked to see Ottley for this arc tbh. His art in issue 16 made me wish he was the one providing the art rather than Ramos. I am glad he's coming back with issue 22.

You're a fan of Jenkins and Buckingham's Spidey? Excellent. Most excellent!
I doubt it. This is written by a comedian and I think it's pretty clear that this is some comedy book. I don't think there's gonna be an actual retcon in the Marvel Universe.
I don't think David Michelinie is against the marriage. He wrote a really good relationship between Peter and MJ in his ASM run.

Even if you didn't like his run, I'd hardly say Slott hated Spider-Man. He definitely did enjoy writing the character.
Idk if he hates Spidey, but Ennis did write Spidey pretty well in Tangled Web.
Oh man, the 80s were such a great decade for Spider-Man. It's my favourite decade of Spider-Man. Spencer brings back a lot of memories of the time I binge read those issues. Great times.
Honestly, the 90s were a pretty good decade for Spidey imo. The Clone Saga did have its problems, but it is a pretty good story and could have been better had there be less editorial issues. I...
I doubt popular opinion states that Slott's Spider-Man sucks. It's probably more in the mixed area, with some considering it one of the best Spidey runs and others considering it a disgrace to Spidey.
Ten issues in, and Spencer is doing such a wonderful job with the book. I think if he keeps writing like this, he could be one of the all-time greats.
His character work is amazing. Back to...
Can spoilers for the issue be discussed here?
Zdarsky went out on a high note. Ever since issue 6, he's improved greatly.
Even though I think Superior would have been a great ending point for him, it was an excellent run.
Slott took bold risks with Spidey that paid off well. I loved his take on Doctor Octopus. A lot...
