Now I want to see Spidey's "Demon in a Bottle," but he's addicted to wheatcakes.
I believe that was from Joe Quesada's design, which wanted it to look decidedly different from other "armed" costumes of the type.
Agreed! Can't wait.
I thought so too, but he's actually saying, "ding, ding, ding." He was talking about bells ringing just before that.
That said, yeah, it's enough like "ping" that I think it's supposed to suggest...
Jerry Ordway himself tweeted it out:

Eagle eyes! I definitely missed that if so, curious to hear if that's true. I can't imagine how the Dibnys would play into DC's darker movie universe.
...First person to bring up Identity Crisis...
Fun theory, but for better or for worse, Lex is just Lex. Here's more info on his relationship with his father:

I think that's fair! Wonder if it was that, or just "black looks cool."
I did, that's true! Didn't miss it, so much as "internalized it as they got the wayne's murder correct yet again on screen." But that should be included, you are correct.
Sure? Rumor is Braniac in JL 1, Darkseid in JL 2, but who knows - they're three weeks from shooting, and we've heard nothing about casting or a script.
Pretty sure Kandor was in "Man of Steel" - it was the city Jor-El flies to on his space dragon - so didn't include it! But yeah, I'd be into Braniac as a villain.
I love YOU.
Oh god, was that too soon.
He didn't say I love you back. Oh no.
...
I mean, I love JUICE.
You and I have a very different idea of boring.

Claire Temple is the Nick Fury of Marvel/Netflix! AndI like that they're not going the same route as the movies... Excited to see how it all comes together, but it's nice they're not forcing it.
I agree! LOVED Elektra... It wasn't exactly the character we know from the comics, but the unique spin made sense - and Elodie Yung was engrossing to watch.
...Also all those times Foggy shouted "I love being a turtle!"
Agree to disagree, but I'm glad you liked all the stuff I didn't!
I just mean sub-boss in the structure of the show... Nobu may or may not have been tougher than Fisk, but DD still needed to battle him before the final confrontation with Kingpin, not the other way...
That would be delightful.
Well that would just be the best thing ever.

It's this song, "Made You Look" by Nas, which is VERY New York, so I didn't mind it:

But to each his (or her) own!
Okay, total back-seat writer here, but I don't think it would have been that hard for DD to recruit Frank to team up with him and Elektra to take down a ninja army, rather than Frank being there to...
