I know this maybe a stupid question but whats the difference between a reboot and a relaunch and rebirth because wasn't the new 52 a reboot ?

but what i mean is are the events from the new 52 still be there also will they do new origin stories, i am very new to comics so not sure how these things work and i have only just started really.

is this rebirth thing going to be a starting point for new readers like the way the new 52 was if so is there any point reading the backlog for new 52 stuff ?
