Honestly that's a tough question. Throughout the IDW run there have been elements of sci-fi, adventure, comedy, and relationship/drama. It's also partly an homage to the original Mirage comics run....

I really don't think much will change on the comics front. DMG has owned a majority of the company for a few years now. Odds are this is a move to make things easier on the movie front.

Imperium does for sure. I think there were 16 issues. Savage and Britannia were only 4 issues, but they've made 4 issue deluxes for Divinity vol 1 and The Valiant.
