I haven't read any of the new ASM series due to the creative team, but I am somewhat hopeful for the Spiderman series with Slott and Bagley at the helm.

What are your thoughts about the potential...

The problem is, JRJR's current work looks nothing like his old stuff....if it looked more like this, I wouldn't have a problem.

It appears that as of issue 9, there will be a new artist as Gleason returns and then Nick Dagotta is on issue 10

Seems like many are not happy with JRJr's work on the new ASM series (myself included).....if you could pick a new artist, one who has never been on a Spider-Man book, who would it be?

Until they bring in a better artist, my $5 will stay in my pocket.....ugh!

Maybe because Marvel realizes that the art work is similar to that of a grade school kid?:confused:

Gleason, Carlos Gomez, Paco Medina.....all three would be better than what JRJR has given us. I'm no artist, but ugh it's just sooooo blocky and ugh

Touche....however, sometimes it is made clear in advance that not all books need to be read.

I only have Batman on my pull list, which means I get two issues of this storyline. Anyone know if I HAVE to pick up the other parts for the two Bat books to make sense or can I just stick with what...

Used to be a Hulk fan...fell off the wagon, but noticed that a new series started in November with Ryan Ottley on pencils.....

Curious as to feedback and of its worth getting into?

For the luv of god just keep Gomez on pencils and stop with the rotating artists! Finally get some quality work

Thankfully I'm about ten issues behind, back at a time in which the art was still decent and storylines made some sense.
