Love the creative team, love the new look. Hel yeah.
I’m really enjoying this book each month. Love Coates’ handling of Steve’s voice and internal dialogue, especially. It’s been a highlight for me since the book started. REALLY loved Steve’s monologue...
Damn, what a finale to this whole story. Most Marvel events are pretty bad, but this was unbelievably dope.
Cap leading a prison riot was so badass. Coates and crew are killin’ it on this book. Feels very much like a spiritual successor to Brubaker.
I can’t believe we are getting an event that is this good. This book rules so much. There’s just so much cool stuff going on every single issue. The threats are terrifying and looming, and the heroic...
This book is so damn good. My lord. This team is hitting every beat right on the money.
You’re missing out on the best comic on the stands right now. Venom is unbelievably good, and I can’t believe I’m even saying that.
This looks awesome!
This book is absurdly good. I just hope my boy Buck is OK!
A conservative writer could write a good Cap story in theory, but it’s hard for me to imagine a conservative really clicking with Steve’s long-standing ideals. More than that, are there any...
That ending was WILD. What a great book. Biggest compliment I can give it is I’m not even a big Hulk fan, and I eagerly await every issue. Just some truly masterful and wholly unique storytelling...
Well said all around! I’m really loving this run so far. Some top notch Steve Rogers every issue, and some VERY interesting stuff surrounding him. Both scary and exciting.
This book is so good. I truly did not expect Chip to go this hard on such a serious book. And once again that art is perfection. As for the big question of “did he do it?” I’d almost be surprised at...
Man, what a book. I think it might be time for another journey through what we have so far.
Yo, Chip’s first issue of old hornhead is wonderful and the art is quite literally perfect for a daredevil book.
Kind of a sweet lineup, and totally didn’t expect them to show up at the end of that issue. Coates is straight killing it on this book.
Yu is the best of the best, but those look damn nice too.
^^Hmmm. Nice catches and thoughts on the themes Coates is running with! Gonna keep that in mind when I do a read through again soon.
That art is still really nice, but yeah, Yu is hard to top. They’re just so, so good. Hope they come back, but at least the replacement is still good.
Yup! I’ll back you up on that one. Both are great series. #12 was bonkers. This book is so good. Like someone else said, I can’t wait to read it again in one marathon sitting.
The first issue? Man, how could I forget such a great panel. Thanks for the reminder. On the bright side, the wait will give me some time do another read through of Coates story so far. I do agree...
Man, that’s a great panel. What’s that from? I also wasn’t aware Yu was leaving the book. That’s too bad. The art is absolutely superb, maybe my favorite out there right and such a good match with...
Anyone else LOVING the current Man Without Fear book? It’s been so cool. New issue today was badass.
I totally understand why these nightmare issues aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m a sucker for them. I love the weird, trippy, surreal horror especially in Batman’s world. And I like how it’s...
Ugh, I love this team and I’m so glad they have a book again. First issue was really great. As everyone else said, the flashback scenes were especially moving. It really drives home the theme of...
