And on tonight's very special episode of "Dancing With The Stars".....
lol. Yeah, that was my first thought on that cover as well. It looks good, but the postures are weird.
"One, two, three, four...I declare a boob war!"
First off, you're not wrong.
Secondly, ew.
I'll go with "or not". :p Just like Sue Storm on that cover, your eyes are irresistibly drawn to Namor's butt!
I just noticed your post there shows him in both his green and red speedos...very...
Since this is the alternate reality version of Moondragon, its entirely possible that her power set is somewhat different and/or stronger than the 616 version we're used to.
Of course, 616...
Perhaps not a popular one, but not an unheard of one with references to oral sex....
I wouldn't mind her staying a villain either. As you said, Carol doesn't have a lot of good villains that are exclusively hers. Brian Reed's MS. MARVEL series made an effort to introduce some new...
Aaron is somewhat hit-or-miss with his characterizations...and with the women in AVENGERS, he tends to be "miss". It seems like he's done no research on Tony and Carol's relationship beyond CWII so...
No retconning involved. As others have already pointed out, Tony and Carol are very close friends and have been for years. The narration here is acknowledging that the two of them bicker but...
The Week In Gay:
Black Cat #7
Excalibur #3 - Rictor makes his first appearance in the book and apparently is having problems with his powers.
Marauders #3 - this book just keeps getting...
Who is the woman on this cover? I don't see any ankle wings so it shouldn't be Namora or Namorita, but it does seem to be someone capable of breathing underwater (or surviving without air). The...
I'm glad you're doing this again Reviresco! Such a fun holiday tradition!
Since Thanos is currently brain dead (when last he was seen) he probably doesn't feel much about it at all. :p
Whenever he is eventually restored to normal he may indeed have an opinion on...
Fair enough on the mindset. I am trade-waiting on HOUSE OF X/POWERS OF X and am just going by what I am picking up on the fly from EXCALIBUR and MARAUDERS, as well as what I pick up here at the...
I agree. Its just that with the current "all mutants should be on Krakoa" mindset, and even an upcoming miniseries around the idea of Franklin Richards potentially being separated from his family...
That reminds me...I wonder what impact the whole Krakoa situation might have on Flatman and the rest of the Great Lakes Avengers? Flatman, Mr. Immortal, Doorman and Big Bertha were all revealed to...
Thanks for that. The AGENTS OF ATLAS and their various side-projects are certainly adding a lot of new LGBT characters to the MU; that's great.
Whoops! I knew about Karma and should have listed that. Thanks!
Cool; thanks. I'm aware of everyone else's confirmed or implied sexualities, but when did Doc Nemesis get outed or implied as...
More recent stuff has played it back up again. During Mar-Vell's temporary resurrection during "A-VS-X" he and Carol were shown as lovers and it was implied that was also their relationship back in...
The Week In Gay:
Jane Foster: Valkyrie #5 - Dr. Annabelle Riggs guest stars and Lisa Halloran also appears.
As BroHomo already pointed out, there was some Sunspot/Cannonball ho-yay in New...
Thanks for that! :)
Her codename was likely based off the Hope Diamond.
lol. You're not wrong, although SOLO AVENGERS/AVENGERS SPOTLIGHT wouldn't qualify as Silver Age - that series ran from the late 80s to the very early 90s.
Of course, the Hawkeye series in AVENGERS SPOTLIGHT was a bit of a mixed bag in terms of quality, but there were some enjoyable stories in there.
Thanks for sharing that here -- that is an amazing redesign and it would be amazing to see Koi Boi using it or something very similar in the comics!
I really hope Koi Boi (and Chipmunk Hunk)...
