So what do we think are the chances of Hal being one of the featured characters in Absolute DC? Has Snyder at some point said who is his GL?

It is not like there is a hard rule. If writer feels like it he can introduce Robin in first issue, or 50 issues later, or never. Same for villains.

It is not like you need to wait same amount of time to introduce these characters. For example, ultimate Venom appeared after 2 or 3 years of USM, not after 20 like in main continuity.

I think there is 0% chance that Jon will exist there.

I wonder if those pages were actually drawn? Maybe DC could release them like they did recently with Jason surviving his encounter with Joker.
