The main differences are the absence of skirt-panels and the belly window (which I hated)...other than that, the silhouette is pretty much the same.
She'll be illustrated by someone who knows how...

Sibling!!! I was waiting to see read your response.
Meet you at the GL to celebrate this wonderful news with drinkies...no tea...all premium liquor in fabulush vessels.
I LOVE her new outfit.
And given this era's penchant for combining powers...this lineup should give us some exciting and interesting power displays.
YES!!!! I LOVE this team.
*ducking out before the barrage of IHATEJEAN'S DRESS!!! complaints start pouring in. Readers can never be happy.
Same.
Does HiX-Man's Krakoa Origin retcon Claremont's?...yes.
Is it more interesting than Claremont's?...yesyesYESOMGFYESSSS!!!!
Yupp. And she's done it before ...for Charles.
Toad? Banshee came in second to Polaris.
Xavier should be able to telepathically access Cerebro as well (he's using it all the time)...he just can't carry it around telekinetically like Jean so it's more expedient to just wear it often.
The Cerebro helmet is removable. I think Charles is seen wearing it so often because he's actively downloading "stuff" all the time. But as we've seen in the woX preview he takes it off to sleep....
I voted Tempo, as well but fully expected Polaris to win.
Except this is not a crossover or even tie-ins, in the truest sense. Each book is telling it's own individual story just centred around the HFG "theme".
...and early on they said that all the writers involved were already writing their single issues specifically with the HFG in mind...so...they were not forced to stop what they were doing and...
Just think of the HFG issues as a one-month long (it. is. only. one. month.) limited series...where you still don't have to buy the books you're not already reading/collecting.
Not very surprising as everyone else on the QC and on Krakoa in general do think of them as the "Leaders of X" given their history.
Storm, Jean and Nightcrawler all naturally defer to them.
Emma...
Goddess!!! How I LOVE this book!
With so many angles and directions in play...the How and Why of Krakoa's "ending" is not as predictable as some may believe.
I don't know...I like some measure of consistency with regards to who actually leads. It makes it feel/look more grounded and serious and important, imo.
I like the idea of switching up/out the X-Men cast/membership from year to year....Just as long as Scott and Jean remain the leaders.
Same here.
There's something about Cate's Thor so far that really sings to me...that I didn't/couldn't really hear in Jason Aaron's Thor.
Thor #14...was AWESOME!!!
While I'm no Batman and would have loved to see Blake permanently and deservedly ended...personally, I LOVED the cruelty of Loki's punishment. And...it leaves it open for...
Uh...what now?
As expected and predicted. I can't wait to see what Dugan does with her and the others. And she will look stunning illustrated by Larraz.
Seeing as how they keep saying that Storm has her sights "on the horizon" away from Karkoa (presumably) and she's still a QC member...she's not going to be one of the new X-Men.
And I'm quite okies...
Enh...low-rise hipster pants are so...dated. (And not really a fan of Chang's art style)
