Quite a sizeable group of the fan base evidently. And ultimately it’s our $$$ that determines the creative direction.

She was never a major character in the early Captain Britain days. Not that it would matter if she was, since Captain Britain was barely on the radar.
It’s hilarious when people like you try and...
I don’t find Otherworld compelling at all to be quite frank, and I bet I’m not alone in that. Betsy has always been a mutant and an X-man first and foremost, that’s where her fan base is derived...
Perhaps she could go back to being a mutant and a core member of the X-men first and foremost. Captain Britain might have more status in-lore, but to the average reader it’s a fringe title with loose...
As a British person, it’s nice to see a design that alludes to the flag without being completely in your face. Also making blue the dominant colour in the outfit works great since it harmonises...
Voice your discontent with your wallet folks...
Or maybe don't since Betsy is basically locked into Excalibur with the Captain Britain identity. It's a tough one.
I don't think Betsy really needs to be Omega level, she should be powerful but not at Xavier/Jean levels. I've always preferred when she used her telepathy for misdirection.
In all honesty I think its pretty shady how dismissive you are of other people's opinions. Just because you're happy with Captain Snore doesn't mean everyone else needs to put up and shut up.
...
Very dismissive of you to assume that fans who are unhappy with the current direction just want 90s Betsy back.
Therein lies the rub. Captain Britain has always been affiliated but never part of the X-men. As long as Betsy is stuck with the moniker, she will be side-lined.
Betsy looks ethereal there. Can we get her a new uniform soon? Preferably something less bulky and without the union jack that clashes with her hair.
And yet Remender's run remains a high point for Betsy. There's been over a year now for the writers to try and convince us of this new direction and its been a damp squib.
What's Betsy's character thread now? She's unsure of herself and her body? Groundbreaking.
It's not just a case of temporary bad writing, it's a complete and irrevocable change to the character. And I'm not referring to the body switch, I'm referring to her entire identity being stripped...
I want her to be Psylocke again. I don't even know who this boring stranger is.
All hail Psylocke.
The whole Betsy "struggling with her identity" has been repeated ad nauseam. Every time she comes to terms with herself the plot gets rehashed again.
Her butterfly signature was her one constant....
Nuff' said.

Basically so Marvel can still market the asian ninja in a thong without any bodyswap implications.
Betsy is being stripped of her identity, meanwhile Kwannon is deprived of her own. As fans we...
They had the opportunity to give Kwannon her own identity, powers and nuances but they squandered it. In time, Betsy will take back her codename and leave Kwannon rudderless.
The gatling gun was probably a step too far. She should stick with the knife, sword/shield and the longbow.

Mystique, that pivotal moral compass the x-men sorely lacked. Occasionally turns blue.
The art above re-affirms to me why it doesn't matter what body she's in. There's nothing remotely "Asian" about the way she was drawn there and she's still very clearly Psylocke.
Honestly i think...
Her hair was pretty inconsistent. There must have been a missing panel where Bets went to the salon before she went into battle.
I was never a fan of her bouffant, it was already pretty...
Purple hair - check
Psy Knife - check
Butterfly - check
I'd say she's still pretty recognisable. Her hair shade and pink outfit might not be to everyone's taste, but that's not as set in stone...
