What a week! My birthday was on Thursday, got my first tattoo, ordered a bunch of books, and unfortunately fell into the Pokémon Go craze.
Marvel is starting to lack originality and are forcing PC and all of that stuff down our throats, they're burying themselves....basically serving up a huge platter for DC to eat off of.
This is just getting ridiculous, I too will be dropping this book. I guess Amazing Spider-Man will be the only Marvel book I'll be picking up....until they make Peter pass the torch to Gwen Stacy.
"Sound of Silence"-Disturbed
My bad, I haven't read anything from the early years of The Flash so I assumed incorrectly.
Speak for yourself, dude. That thread had as much quality as a RJLAAMR thread.
Alfred raised Bruce, Joe West raised Barry. It's all about upbringing. Besides, once Barry got his powers, didn't he dedicate it to seek out his mother's killer?
Honestly, I'm tired of all of it. Can we just stop switching characters already? We're two books in and people are dropping like flies and identities are being changed....like Game of Thrones.

You mean there are other comic book forums than this one? BLASPHEMY!
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions was my choice, I really enjoyed the storyline and playing in the different dimensions. If I'm not mistaken, Dan Slott wrote the storyline, did he not?
Just a tiny Bluegill, nothing all that exciting. It's a catch and release pond that isn't very deep but there's a pond in the area that supposedly has a 17" whopper swimming around.
It was nice getting out and fishing tonight....granted it was humid and upper 80s-lower 90s.
This book isn't getting the hype it deserves. I'm hearing a lot of good things about Reborn and I am definitely looking forward to stepping out of my comic comfort zone!
The Flash (Barry Allen) has slowly but surely become one of my favorite DC heroes, right behind Batman. With that said, do any of you have suggestions on what to read? I'm looking for some really...
Kat Dennings! ;)
There's no better feeling than finding comic books you really want for cheap that are usually pretty pricey!
Uncle Ben was quite the motivation to Peter being Spidey, I think MJ is quite the motivation as well. I want Pete and MJ to be together again, RYV was a great story and I would love to see that in...
I hope all of the castings pay off. There are way too many celebrities in this movie already, I just hope it clicks and isn't a "forced" movie.
I'm just about finished with The Gauntlet Vol 1. I must say that I am somewhat disappointed because it isn't what I thought it'd be, it's Spider-Man so I guess I can't complain too much.
I'm also 30 and have been reading Slott for quite some time. Slott isn't afraid to take a chance, I admire that! Some writers love playing it safe, which is fine, but taking a chance on something is...
Very good news! It's great to finally hear some good news, it's been a rough couple of weeks for me.
I'm so sorry to hear that!
I've heard some really good things about this series, nice find!
