I’ve been working on a read/reread of the 87th Precinct myself. Been doing it for a couple years now and am only at book 16 of 55.
I almost quit reading comics all together when things fell apart there.
American Mythology has put out some enjoyable ERB stories.
Crossgen. Always Crossgen.
The Darth Plagueis novel and the first volume of Star Wars: Legacy are must reads.
Honorable mention to the X-Wing comics and novels.
They get a little longer as the series goes along.

It was a fun read, surely a book of its time, but fun nevertheless.
While there is a certain charm to the Gold Key books, IDW by a long shot.
I realize he’s busy with Mage III, but if I was Dynamite, I’d let Matt Wagner do anything he wanted with the Shadow.
Probably just Green Hornet and James Bond.
I’m hoping he can.
I liked DK III, but he had Azzarello to help him out with the writing.
Really too bad that Cutler already came out of retirement. He loved throwing passes to the Packers.

No doubt at all, the Crossgen universe.
David Avallone has killed on this book and he was great on The Shadow/Twilight Zone before that. I hope he comes back for another Doc tale after this one concludes.
