Been a fan of 'Who' for quite a while now, but could never get on with Tennant or Smith. I watched the odd episode with them but I wasn't a regular viewer during their time. Despite the fact I didn't...
I prefer the recolouring. Some of the original colouring just looked odd, take the Iron Man example; why is he wearing Dick Tracy's jacket?
Let us know how you get on, I might consider giving them another go if I hear good things from people. Their prices are generally really good.
I've stopped shopping with them entirely after attempting to buy the Deadpool Omnibus from them. Waited 30 days after it was 'dispatched' before contacting them as it hadn't arrived and they claimed...
Damn you Manhattan Projects, forcing me to double dip.
My three favourites are New X-Men, Miller's Daredevil and The Stand. I should state I've never seen a Simonson Thor omnibus to be able to include it though.
Think I'm now sold on Crawl Space, thanks for posting.
The ones that jump straight to mind:
BPRD Library editions to go with the Hellboy versions
Waid Flash Omnibus(es)
Kyle Rayner 90s GL run omnibus
90s Guy Gardner collected however
More Kirby...
That's awful, I assume you're going to get a replacement? I'm worried about the binding on my copy too. I've read the first few issues and it looks like the binding is starting to come away.
I voted for DOFP. I thought they were both great films but DOFP was the more ambitious of the two and I was pleasantly surprised, it was far better than I expected. I also took small issue with TWS...
All the while the main focus is on the First Class cast they're fine. They can then gradually recast younger actors in to the other roles (much like with Xavier and Magneto) and allow them to grow in...
For what it's worth I thought it was the best film based on a Marvel super hero property.
Pretty hard to resist picking this book up, looking forward to it.
Weather Wizard? I'm in. Still not sold on the costume but it's not a game breaker.
The Directors Cut isn't a bad film, some dodgy CGI moments but I do like it.
True, but they used a combination in Man of Steel and it seemed to work. I agree about the other points you made about the cape, looking forward to seeing more of the suit to find out the answers.
After TLH and DV it felt like a bit of a let down. Hush is a great looking book but I just didn't feel as intrigued by the mystery as I was with Loeb's earlier efforts.
I love this run. Quite a lot of ballsy moves made, and some great stories. I'd give it a 4.9 if I could, just so I can acknowledge that the Batman and Robin run is even better.
Agree to disagree on that because I really don't miss it. I really never liked the S on the cape, always seemed odd to me. I'm pretty sure we can agree on how awesome the cape looked in Man of Steel,...
I think people like to exaggerate the difficulty of playing Batman too, it's a little silly. Eisenberg is an interesting casting choice. I guarantee if it had been Nolan casting him everyone would be...
I'll wait to see a decent, colour picture of the suit before making a proper judgement but I'm leaning towards loving it. If it is grey and black as most suspect then it could well be my favourite...
They're storage boxes for single issue comics made by Volstor, the Batman spine is just decoration.
They're actually storage cases for single issue comics from a company called Volstor. Not a fan of long boxes and these were the best option I could find.
Love the Hellboy books, got them all. I have Blacksad sitting on a shelf but haven't read it yet, might make that my next to read though.
Cool thanks, I had been hearing good things about...
Thanks for the heads up. Going to stick with importing it from the US for now, was hoping it would drop a little further from Amazon UK... Wishful thinking.
