Exactatiously. His style was a really good compliment to Coccolo's. I would have loved Yldiray Cinar as well.
It's simply one writer burrowing from the lore they know and appreciate. All writers do it. It really isn't that deep.
I mean...it really is that simple.
I get it's nice to see it in animated action but...and this is my critique about XMTAS and XM 97 overall...this isn't new and the comic books did these stories so much better.
I'm glad I was a somewhat right in my speculation. But it really is a dark effed-up plan even for what Magneto had foreshadowed about Xavier.
It will be interesting to know just exactly when it...
Yupp. Even though it was suspected 3-D was a double agent the "How" of it was unexpected and showed up T'Challa's strategic mind.
T'Challa had an interesting strategic moment in today's Avengers 13, I quite enjoyed.
And deep sighs of relief were exhaled by all of 3-D Man's fans.
I really enjoyed this two-parter...as I've been enjoying MacKay's Avengers run from the beginning.
Nope. We don't know writer, artist, nor premise. We know nothing definitive besides what was shown on that one page. On the positive side...after the on-line reactions to that panel and art Brevoort...
Today's issue 13 was another really good and surprising read. A lot of 3-D Man fans are breathing sighs of relief. And I like T'Challa's part/moment in that plot.
But...bloody hell...they don't...
Reposting these because they're reminders of the levels of her awesomeness that we have not seen in ages. It's crazy that modern writers don't/can't write to her strengths and full capabilities.
No. I get having neuro divergent and mental issues is a trendy thing in the real world but...it does not need to become pervasive in comic books especially not with characters who have otherwise...
Goddess!!! I hate Jan Bazaldua's art with every fibre of my being. That's so disappointing.
Yupp. I'm letting him cook. So far he's 100 times more interesting in just three issues than whatever Coates and Ridley did in their entire runs.
I am probably/most likely the only Storm fan on the planet who isn't all wet and orgasmic over what they've done with her (and the rest of the X-Men, truth to tell) in XM92.
Not for lack of trying...
That's one of my speculative issues with the relaunch era...that really good and interesting character development that happened in the Krakoa Era...like Greycrow finding a new, different start and...
It's homaging the Amazing Spider-man Giant-sized Annual wedding issue when he marries Mary Jane.
139001
X-Force 01
Blood Hunt 05
Avengers 16
Scarlet Witch 02
Only from a very speculative storytelling perspective.
It could go in a completely different direction and prove me wrong and also right, for completely disregarding his writing.
Yes! Yes! Yes!!!
At this stage it's the only thing that makes storytelling sense.
It's not a fake-out per se as he is actually committing the acts. He made the deal with Orchis to kill all of humanity but save...
Enh! Yupp Southerner.
Based on what was shown in the other Gillenister preview it's clearly all some elaborate master plan that only he knows (because if he tells anyone else chances are Dominion...
You can say that Black and Gold are Storm's signature colours but she's worn white, black/red, purple...Wolverine has had a range of costumes and colours...sure the costume is identifiable but it's...
X-Force #1
...that's it.
