Angelica gets neutralized off panel and doesn't even get a real victory. Instead she gets a patronizing Emma wiping away her tears. Jesus.

lol Same. Great pic though
Good first issue. It really hit the ground running and could use more Ali, but I'm sure she will get the chance to shine later. Also, this isn't her first time dying during the Krakoa era.
Nice to see Jess and Julia interacting and Julia acting more like well Julia.
So, we finally get some movement with other Marvel heroes rising up against Orchis. But where are the FF? Or Hell a gang of Defenders/New Warriors/Champions?
You would hope lol
With the Fall here, can't wait to see her help bring Orchis down.
lol having a quaking Angelica cowering from Kitty with a gun was certainly a choice. I would say some of her best characterization this era was the Annual but nothing else is touching any of her...
I grew up a pre-Crisis Wonder Woman fan so, when this first came out, I remember finding it so jarring. Steve older? Married to Etta? Boston? Vanessa and Julia!?!? It was a little bit much and it...
Very annoying. But this seems to be the truth on many of these social media "hot takes"
Haven't read it in eons but remember enjoying his run. It wasn't flashy, which could have been jarring for some coming off of Byrne, but he crafted decent inoffensive stories. I remember shipping...
Yikes! That fight was trash. I guess we can always fanwank it as Angelica deciding to hold back. I mean, this is the girl that has helped save the world time and time again and that Agatha Harkness...
I've been a Fire and Ice fan for a while now so I was excited to hear about this series. Plus, I have been enjoying Starer's Sirens of the City. This first issue didn't disappoint. Nice to see both...
I used to read the old school Alpha Flight so I liked the callbacks to Box and Feedback. I feel like there is more to this story and I'm not sure I trust Guardian with his shady history.
I'm not really big on any of the characters in this and wasn't going to pick this up. I ended up taking a chance based off of Steve Foxe and I was intrigued enough to pick it up again next month....
Will be interesting to see if this resolves with Kitty being brought into the ruse or her still viewing Angel as public enemy number one.
I'm curious about how her father or Vance views her now.
This is the book I'm most looking forward to during Fall of X. Can't wait to read.
We deserve a Firestar: Agent of Orchis mini
Glad to see Firestar continuing with the team. That assures that I will keep picking this up.
lol
I'm an old school BOP fan and I have enjoyed Kelly Thompson's work over the last few years so I'll definitely check this out. As it is, Dinah is the only real draw for me with this version....
Count me in among those that liked this as well. Really cool to get such a diverse cast working towards a common goal. Hope we get to see more like this.
Two queens.
Hoping Angel remains with the team post Gala or, at the very least, shows up in Bobby's solo.
Nice to see Angelica get a moment to really cut loose. I was hoping Duggan remembered she was a powerhouse.
I enjoyed it fine enough. Decent first issue that sets up the new status quo.
And I must say that Nicola's got my girls, Donna and Kori, looking gooooooood.
I'm also in the camp that enjoyed Cloonrad's run. Their Diana was actually fun and like someone that I would like to hang out with and shoot the ****. Loved having Steve and Etta as backup as well as...
