Has there ever been a “hero gets turned evil” story that didn’t suck?
I feel like Harper/Bluebird could’ve been that “other side” in terms of exposing Punchline’s lies, rather than just being a glorified punching bag for her.
Honestly am tired of Bluebird being passed over.
Maybe Lark for Duke, since a future flash story showed that there'd be a hero named Lark?
Bluebird remains MIA.
I think a costume for Bluebird that incorporates more blue and makes her look less like Nightwing would be amazing.
kinda wonder if they'll do more with her, or she'll just end up in limbo in a few months time.
Even just something in DC Pride in June would make me happy.
Even if our favorite blue-haired heroine's time in the spotlight seems to be done for now, doesn't mean we can't appreciate her all the same.
As always, here's the reading guide, courtesy of...
This arc seems like they were just padding time before Beast World, which starts next month.
The new villain, Ava, is fascinating and I can’t wait to see her deal.
Put him and Bluebird in a book where they’re heroes focused on the areas of Gotham that don’t necessarily have a Bat protecting them 24/7.
I guess this three-issue story is a fun diversion between the whole “Spider Who Gobbles” saga before it and the Gang War after this.
IIRC, the last Batfam drama Kate was involved in was the whole "killed Clayface" incident. Was she even in Gotham War?
I guess she joined Bluebird in Bat-Limbo during Gotham War.
Bluebird and her brother were well done, imo. Then again, I'm kinda biased.
man, they can't even do an evil Spider-Man story right.
Story decompression might be my least favorite modern comic trend, especially when it draws out stories unnecessarily.
“You won’t believe your eyes reading the last page of this issue”
Lemme guess… really weird cliffhanger everyone hate talks and begs to not be continued at all?
that said, a Spider-Man in a black suit acting evil when that's likely to happen in the PS5 game is a bit of a neat(?) coincidence.
And, I guess, Harper is probably the poorest, since she and her brother are just barely getting by and aren’t really part of the Batfam these days.
He did, but only in the "Dark Reign: Mr. Negative" miniseries.
On its own, “evil Spider-Man who acts like a Goblin” is an admittedly interesting premise. It’s just the circumstances and context that make it untenable for most.
Ah, the rare story where Bluebird’s obscurity is to her benefit, because she’ll likely be not involved in this mess.
technically, Spider-Man can be in the right in getting payback on Kraven, buuuut... the fact that it's Spider-Man, the goodest good guy of Marvel's stable of heroes, acting uncharacteristically...
