Thanks for the pics!
I haven't read any Duck stories outside of those written by Barks or Rosa. Any comments on the comics themselves?
Wow, those look gorgeous. I am sending my first set out for binding soon (Shade The changing man too), just need one more issue.
But I have a feeling my graphic covers are going to look nothing...
I think I'll go with Balakin's format for my voting.
Both my favourite collection and single book for the year are from Fantagraphics. They are doing some amazing work.
My favourite collected...
Anyone else been ordering from Hamilton Book? Bought a couple from there today.

Anyone pick up the Satellite Sam Deluxe? Is it oversized or more along the lines of Southern Bastards?
What I've read of Snyder's Swamp Thing was as a part of Rotworld while reading Lemire's Animal Man. I thought it was rather terrible and those issues seem to be included in the deluxe. Killed my...
I don't believe any of them are hard to find.
That is brilliant. I have been wanting to read them for a while now. Unfortunately, a lot of the volumes are OOP.
aaltomuoto, that is a great set up.
What are those books in the shelf above Buddha and below Lone Wolf and Cub? Is it Blackjack?
Does Dark Horse usually try to keep the BPRD HCs in print? Or have they just moved to the softcovers?
Just got my vol 1 today. Here's what the spine looks like.

It is also going to be collected in Fantagraphic's Don Rosa collections. (Starting at vol 4 I believe).
Well, most of the discounts and sales in the US are seasonal. Starting September, I am sure there will be more US stuff to put in. I mean, IST gives a standard 42% off most DC/marvel stuff. What more...
Found a copy of Life and Times of Martha Washington slipcase hardcover for a decent price! Hopefully it gets here soon.
Thank you. It is a shame to hear that. I have a few of the old paperbacks (which are 8000 miles away). It doesn't look like they will be reprinting the HC omnibuses. So I plan to get the individual...
Has there been any news or rumour of any upcoming Asterix special editions in the US?
That makes sense, thanks. 1600 would be a pain (e.g., The Invisibles).
For someone on here familiar with Johns' run - Do you see this collection going into a 4th omnibus?
Ugh, that looks horrible.
Just an FYI for future purchases. The website and stores are run as separate companies. The prices are different and the store won't price match the website (they'll even get a bit prissy about it...
Half of our lists match!
My vote looked like this.
1) Sandman Mystery Theatre Omnibus 1 [Issues #1-#36]
2) Sandman Mystery Theatre Omnibus 2 [Issues #37-#70 + Sandman Midnight Theatre]

Great collection Starbrand. Those HC Asterix omnibuses look so nice. I hope the first two volumes are reprinted someday.
I am comparing it with the Animal Man Omnibus which has the same page count but is 25% cheaper and has much better paper quality too.
Maybe because it is Christmas shopping time, but B&N seem to have raised their prices on everything. And quite bit, at that.
