Fatale by Brubaker
You don't mention age but if the giftee likes spy thrillers, consider the Velvet Deluxe Edition by Brubaker. If adventure, consider Wild Blue Yonder by Raicht. For Sci-Fi, consider Echo, The...
I really hope so. Like you, I don't read online comics.
Consider me intrigued!
Ichiro by Ryan Inzana
CBR is a different site now that it changed hands, or re-branded, or whatever happened. Probably lost many of the old visitors.
I see the next trade is due out in October. Would anybody care to comment on the current arc? Has issue #16 been addressed? Does the new arc stand on its own?
I mostly enjoyed the series. I enjoyed the humor and the plot throughout but I'll admit it took a while for the art to grow on me but it really did complement the crazy concept. The only negative...
That's a pretty good list. I highly recommend the Ex-Heroes series by Peter Clines - superheroes trying to save humanity (or at least LA) during a zombie apocalypse. 'Nuff said.
Agreed! Hope they collect the installments in a trade down the road.
Been a fan of this series from the start and I just read the last trade. It seems like some details as to the overall mystery were a bit rushed - especially the reveal of Em's killer. Was that...
I picked this up recently because the creative team did a great job on The Sixth Gun and the concept appealed to me. I enjoyed it and look forward to more down the road.
Is it just me or does it seem lately that whenever an excellent creator-owned book comes out, Marvel or DC swoops in and lines that creator up for something else that monopolizes their time? Rucka...
As much as I want the Locke & Key one-shot, I'm still holding out for the eventual collected trade of all the one-shots.
Why put [SPOILER] in the poll title but then put it next to a picture of the Hulk??
So how many delays are due to the artist/writer having other commitments (especially for the big two), forcing their Image stuff to be sidelined in the meantime?
Anybody know how many issues this series is supposed to be?
This is one of my favorite Image titles. Unfortunately I don't help sales numbers because I trade wait. Hopefully, if it does wrap up at #48, they will stick the landing.
I think I'm going to drop this series. The art was a big hook for me in the beginning but it has just been getting worse and worse. The last arc was stretched out and it seemed like not much really...
For anyone interested, Terry Moore has a special "Black Edition" Rachel Rising Omnibus available for pre-sale on his website and due out in July/August. It is limited to 750 copies but there are...
Selina's Big Score is included in the trade
Based on the recommendations here, and the fact that I love Darwin Cooke's artwork, I picked up Brubaker's Catwoman, Vol. 1: Trail of the Catwoman and it was amazing. I should have picked it up...
Unfortunately the Flash episode highlighted the biggest problem that the show has - namely Superman. The show as it stands is a re-tread of Superman - the same villains, the same sidekick (Jimmy),...
Finally, the new Velvet trade! Will probably pick up the Monstress trade as well.
