sigh... more and more wasted potential. First it was not using Tempest in the Spiders vs Wasps Spiderverse story and now it's the continued non-use of Venom 2099 in Venomverse smh lol

have Kron or Alea shown up in any of the Venomverse stories yet?
not no, but, everyone just pretends that never happened. Because that storyline was the result of all the authors walking in protest when Marvel fired the line editor as a cost-saving measure and had...
yeah! literally just the next issue. Miguel is head of Alchemex, his mother is working for him, Tyler is trying to wrest control back, Roman has escaped with the symbiote after invading the city with...
the only good that can come of this is the adoption of Miguel's movie outfit, because honestly that fit slaps
oh no I just read up on the Spider-Verse event that Web of Spider-Man is a teaser for. They're just... setting up movie continuity in the comics. Miguel is setting up the multiverse Spider-Society...
Have been rereading my trades, and I'm trying to figure out when exactly Superior Spider-Man and the ensuing Spider 2099 runs take place w/regard to the original run. In Superior #17, Miguel says...
oh huh, will need to check that out. Looks like that's a teaser one-shot for upcoming characters/events/storylines? Glad Miggy is in it, means they're gonna keep him around for a while, hopefully.
look at us, waiting a whole month like some sort of plebian
Been a while since we've had a 2099 series that wasn't weekly, huh
time to go read the entirety of the OG Spider-Man 2099 again lol
holy shock I love this. picking right up after issue 44 (they say after 43 in this, but 44 is the one that ends with Roman & the symbiote) and we just go from there. this is is amazing
today's the day! sitting down with my copy now :3
Haha, I was pleasantly surprised! Really wondered how they were going to handle that when I read the solicit, and was quite pleased with the issue. Still think he looks a bit phalanxy, but I'm not...
also to get a regular featuring Miguel going before the next film hits, I assume
read the first two issues of Miguel, they're good! I'm enjoying the standalone issues that aren't part of a big overarching storyline, they're nice. I'd love an ongoing or more long-form miniseries...
oh dam I've just been missing all sorts of news haven't I...
ooo! this an alt cover?
I always figured that the Timestorm version of Miguel was basically Ultimate Miguel. It's the exact sort of reimagining of the characters and world that the Ultimate line...
just saw! glad his health is on the upswing
I can def agree with this. the more personal, smaller stakes stories where we focus on character are the more enjoyable in my opinion.
Oh heck. I hope his health improves :<
Was Symbiote Spider-Man 2099 not supposed to be October? I don't see it in the solicits
Oh wow, will have to give that a look
there's a reason I basically only dip back in to Marvel for 2099 (which has me eating good these days, admittedly)
oh I really like this interpretation, hope it pans out that way!
