Mike1981, it's technically dynamics not statics (at least one the force is applied to the bookcase to cause it to fall it becomes dynamics).
I totally agree with you on everything else you said.
The 52 Omnibus is mine!
Hell, I'd settle for a re-print of the deluxe sized Ex Machina.
It's kinda like Y: The Last Man with a small confused boy (with antlers). It's great and the first volume is like $30 retail so I'm sure you can find it reasonably cheap online (when it's released...
Preordered, preordered and preordered!
Really enjoyed Big Man Plans. There was one double page spread that was really hard to read (The Sepia flashback) but otherwise the comic was great. Fitting end to a great mini!
Everything he said.
I'm hoping for deluxe versions of Morrison's Action and Lemire's Animal Man.
Never mind... I'm an idiot
Wow... just wow...
Great issue. Really enjoyed it. I'm not going to post any spoilers (because I have no idea how to do spoiler tags) but wow!!!
Kinda bummed that next issue is the end.
Good morning all,
I've read a lot about folks worried about the pages pulling away from the spine in some of the larger omnis when stored in an upright manner. Folks have stated they like to use...
I read my monthlies exclusively digital. However I will buy a series I like in a collected edition as long as its in an oversized hardcover format or better. I don't do tpbs or even regular sized...
I'm looking to purchase a few plate holders to display some OHCs. Any idea what size I should buy? The one I am looking at comes in a bunch of different sizes. The standard OHC is roughly 11" high...
I suspect nobody will know the answer to this but I'll try anyway.
I don't currently own any Marvel collected editions, primarilybecause I don't like the spine treatment. While I will admit that...
I have to say, I had no idea what this book was about. Basically a blind buy based solely on excessive hype from folks. It's a super interesting concept, a bunch of one and dones that tie together. ...
... For the 1st time. Been using this site (http://home.earthlink.net/~rkkman/frames/) for annotations after every issue. Any other annotation resources y'all would recommend?
So far I like it...
Ah well... I tried.
Hey all,
I usually stick to the DC hardcover thread so I don't know if this has been covered but Amazon currently has 57% of the Original Sin hardcover ($32 down from $75). This has to be a...
No... just no...
I actually hope this becomes the next Walking Dead, a book that just goes on w/ no clear end point. As long as the quality remains as high as it is right now, I could easily...
I'm on the fence w/ this one, solely because of the size issue. Might be tough to store a book that big.
take my money!!!!!
I can't speak for the mods but I thought this post was super useful and warranted any potential "spamming." Thanks for the info!
My pull list looks something like this, however on any given month I may add to this if something catches my eye...
ACTION COMICS
AQUAMAN
BATMAN
BATMAN ETERNAL
BATMAN SUPERMAN
EARTH 2...
If they didnt want us to read trades, they wouldn't publish them... It's unrealistic to think that DC expects every trade sale is somebody who already owns the issue.
It's also unfortunate that...
