Oh, aha. I only knew about the first story.
But what if they are counting on people thinking it is too obvious, which makes it not obvious? :)
Some characters have gotten Annuals when they didn't even have a regular series.
FYI, I believe this is a backup story in on of the other DC-Hanna Barbara Specials that are coming out soon, it's not its own book.
I'm prepared for it to be a philosophical experiment.
Technically, Annuals would be "one per year", regardless of how many of the regular issues have come out.
My interpretation has always been that what we saw in the trailer is what it is like for short bursts, but that if he decided to run around the Earth or something, he would not experience that in...
I don't think we ever know how long anyone is going to be on anything, lol.
I haven't read the book yet - is there a visual flashback, or just a name-mention. If it's just a name-mention, then all we know is a JL fought a Mageddon at some point, but not that any details...
I confess to not being able to quite follow. So, like, she DID stick a sword in War and become Goddess of War but her mother was NOT turned to stone?
I assume that, at the very least, after Barry was reunited with Wally, at the next JL meeting Barry was like "hey, everybody, so this happened..."
1. In the Wonder Woman series, we saw an old witch-y Amazon create "Donna Troy" in a cauldron. She is sent to kill WW (IIRC) and along the way she kills all of the recently found male Amazon...
Well, it's that constant struggle between trying to do new things and having a big chunk of your audience say "no".
Did those stories happen earlier, or did they happen after Jon was born (which would also make them different in a few ways)?
After all, he still has to have been doing things for the last 10...
In the sense that someone named Mageddon apparently exists, sure. Everything else could be completely different.
Either the events in WW's book happened in the more distant past, or this really hasn't got much to do with anything published before.
Heh. Unfortunately, "nobody is acting like they should" can go either way - mind control or bad writing...
Maybe, but if that's the case, why isn't it affecting Nightwing? And why isn't Nightwing questioning it?
Actually, the more I think about this, the less I like it. "Heroes all teleported to the same place" is nothing new, but this notion that because they were, one or more of them must be an imposter...
But if you have to explain where they are, you aren't ignoring them.
To be fair, then what happens when a writer wants to tell a story that revolves around Superman being the only Kryptonian on Earth? Or when Superman gets into a fix and one just has to wonder why he...
Too long; didn't read.
We really need a Donna-centric arc to explain things. I *think* they could retroactively say that Diana and Donna knew each other, and then hadn't seen each other in a while, then Donna was...
That's because the tradition in comics is to put the focus on the costumes, powers, and fights, whereas dramatic TV is more about the personalities and relationships. So that's why the heroes are...
I'm hoping for some explanation of Donna Troy's life and how it relates to what we saw in WW's comics. When I first saw the bit where WW was telling her to stay away, I thought that was what they...
