Thanks for the info.
So I've read the Henry Hayes series and been wondering, have any SHIELD related comics continued the whole Biotek/Andrea Hope-is-a-sleeper-Deathlok sub-plot?
I've read some of the...
It's a shame there's no solo Winter Soldier book, there's so much potential to weave in older plots Brubaker never quite got to as well as crossing in characters from Latour's run as well as Secret...
I don't love the armor but its certainly not the worst one, it's just a slightly more angular version of the Extremis armor.
Thanks for the welcome!
Yeah Marvel's been on a pretty good streak of cool costumes for her, it also doesn't hurt that the artists depicting them have all been stellar. I'm glad she's been more...
I've not read the issues but just looking at the previews it reads like an odd book.
Not only does it not have a consistent art team (2 different artists) but it already has an Uncanny Avengers...
That looks fantastic.
The new costume really works here and that's right after the already classy Marvel Now costume.
I actually thought of those villains too since they work a lot better under the spy/espionage part of Marvel and by extension Winter Soldier stories rather than Iron Man ones but I would feel bad...
Figured you need some cheering up.
Also, I have no idea why outside of Joe Casey writers haven't brought back Jack Truman Deathlok.

The character is a former SHIELD...
I've been thinking about what I would want out of a new Winter Soldier book and it basically comes down to Metal Gear mixed with Marvel brand uniqueness:
Winter Soldier and his supporting cast:
...
I think that's only the case if the FF/X-Men merchandise pertain to the Fox movies. They've put X-Men characters in the Contest of Champions mobile game with no issue and same goes with Marvel...
Haha, I'm getting the feeling that you're on the verge of a very emotional breakdown.
I'm not debating that, I just think it's funny that every week we get some new interview with an actress inquiring about the role with little to no basis to it.
According to online rumors every actress is up for the Captain Marvel role.
Not that I can recall.
I've never seen that variant before actually.
Defining in terms of "This is the quintessential Ms.Marvel/Captain Marvel story you must read".
Mar-Vell's defining story was at the end of his life but it encapsulated the character pretty well...
Definitely not ;)
That's a pretty good story to collect, I'd also like to see her run with the Starjammers.
I agree although to my recollection she's never had a defining story like Mar-Vell had with his death. I suppose the closest would be the whole ordeal with Marcus (which is just a super bizarre story...
It doesn't really need to be movie related promotion though, I just want to have a good trade of the beginnings of Carol's adventures along with maybe a few reprints of her interactions with...
Outside of the more expensive Masterworks has Marvel ever released trades of the 1977 Ms. Marvel series?
Seems odd to not have that out yet with an upcoming Captain Marvel movie as well as Carol...
That's a pretty decent, even if oft used, way to bring him back depending on how you'd want to use him from that point onward.
I think that makes the most sense as far as where the character...
It was.
I don't really mind when they try weird stuff like in Original Sin where they were marrying espionage and space but it doesn't always work for every character which is why I thought it was...
That's still a pretty decent list.
I'm not saying that this is all at the expense of the X-titles or anything but its pretty obvious that Infinity onwards they've been getting a bigger spotlight...
