“Spider-Man: Hook”
Could you please point me in the right direction?
I’m 100% here for Hickman and a take on Peter who’s been bitten later in life but the family aspect does little more me. OMD was sloppy but I’m over it now and never felt the need to have Peter...
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I wonder how many issues Jonathan Hickman has planned. Hope this doesn’t go down like X-Men.
Small part of me wonders if this is still somehow connected to the original USM series. Obviously Marvel likes to reuse adjectives for titles and the Bagley variant showing an older USM cast is...
2099 is the only omnibus that I've desired since, like, the Uncanny X-Force reprint. I'm dying to get my hands on it.
I'm confused. It seems as though the new released page shows last weeks new releases still unless I'm tripping balls.
Anyone know if Daredevil MMW volume 16 was pushed back?
Did IST stop updating on Tuesdays? This weeks new releases don't even show up on the site.
The recent and upcoming DD Masterworks may be up your alley. Hardcovers and a bit pricey but very nice and still available, I think.
I want all these books, but I don’t want the hassle of owning them, moving them, even thinking about them.
It’s not even really about the money.
My desire is just caught in some sort of limbo...
Spider-Man 2099 was my most wanted omnibus. Such a fun run. My Favorite Spider-Man series, next to Ultimate Spider-Man.
I think my shock at the price of the Ultimate Spider-Man reprint on "Cheapgraphicnovels" indicates I've been out of the game too long. I believe it's at $75.
Hoping the IST price is closer to $60.
Can someone share what it is? I can't watch right now and even if I could, Youtube is too clunky these days for me to watch these "one book announcement" videos, tbh.
Does DC still care about Frank Miller's Ronin? Only the tpb is in print. I'm dying for an Absolute Edition reprint.
These “one book announcement” videos are a bit excessive. Feels like at least two could be announced in one video. like Omar though.
Appreciate that! Saved me some money.
Anyone pick up the new Batman: Black and White hardcover? Seems sort of expensive for a non-deluxe, but I'm tempted because those stories tend to be really fun.
1. Sandman Mystery Theater
2. Shade the Changing Man by Peter Milligan
3. Batman Zero Year
The Lost Years is a really cool book. Confused the hell out of me as a kid who bought comics sporadically and never followed a book issue to issue. Those reflective red covers are so nostalgic now.
Octavius should still be Spider-Man. It's weird, interesting, and everything fun about comics. Peter is never going away, be that in the movies, games, cartoons, or myriad of flashback stories or...
Y'all, I think I'm going to cry if we don't get a reprint of "Absolute Ronin".
100%
If not Grant, I'm ready for anyone who has a bit of leverage and creative leeway. The book often feels way too editorialized.
I wish the black label dark Knight returns hardcover had been released in the states. It was solicited and then pulled. I need a new hardcover edition and there is really no ideal choice for me. The...
No one knows, but it is likely to happen in the next several years.
Or you could get on board with the Master Marvelworks, which just caught up to the start of Frank Miller's run on Daredevil....
After reading it, I can't recommend it, unless you already loved those issues.
There were a couple glimmers of an interesting angle with Jace Fox, but this mostly felt like a children's story book,...
