It's a good book, well worth your time.
B.E.K. and Shipwreck. I've read some other first issues (Alters; The Revisionist; American Monster; Second Sight) but I'm not sure I'll continue. Overall, solid books, on par with Black Mask and Boom!
I might try Crosswind. Otherwise:
The Black Monday Murders
Deadly Class
Injection
Paper Girls
They're Not Like Us
I'm not sure I'm still interested in Black Magick. Pretty long break on...
Golden Age Superman 9

This is where I am, too. Image's release inconsistency is driving me away. There are other publishers who offer great content and release regularly. Most of the books that I've been reading by Image...
I second Morning Glories. There is a lot unresolved...
pizza
sci-fi movies
taking a bath
tea
Charles Dickens
J. R. R. Tokien
listening to or playing music
a genuine smile
an excellent joke or riddle
British comedy
That's a valid point. I will certainly drop a book if I stop enjoying it, so maybe there is no mutual contract. Maybe it's more like this: if there are creators who consistently excel and maintain...
I get your point. But, it's a problem for me because I only read 8-10 Image titles at a time, and they consistently go off the rails. I only listed the titles I could recall off-hand but I know there...
It happens a lot. Examples? Black Magick; Injection; Material; Morning Glories; Nowhere Men; Trees; They're Not Like Us. Lazarus is getting into that list now, too. Basically, what I see is creators...
Great. Another round of books that either will hit monumental delays, never be finished, or have the creators bail out well before the story is told.
Image is starting to truly suck.
I think Aftershock, Avatar, Black Mask, BOOM!, Image, IDW, Oni and Vertigo all publish better content. And I like Gerard Way but none of the YA books are compelling. I have enjoyed the art, though.
I chose Doom Patrol but it's just OK. Shade is less OK. Mother Panic is even less OK. Cave Carson didn't do anything for me. I'm probably going to drop everything, though, as other publishers...
Also, for other publishers, I'd recommend Aftershock; Avatar; Black Mask; BOOM!; Dark Horse; Humanoids; IDW; Oni Press; Europe Comics; Valiant (if you like superheroes); and Vertigo. I avoid Marvel...
Paper Girls is OK, too.
The Boys is superb.
I'd also recommend Black Hammer (Dark Horse) by Jeff Lemire.
There are so many good ones. I enjoy:
Black Monday Murders
Deadly Class
East of West
The Fuse (completed)
Invisible Republic
Lazarus
Morning Glories (probably ended at issue #50)
Postal
Nick: Please finish Morning Glories! Thank you.
That should've been 35 to 100 MB.
Sorry for the caps...
