Another good one! I hope that his marketing ideas work!
Really exciting issue! I love how Priest really thinks about the consequences of things, but still embraces the comic book world. I really hope this does well, too!
Oh, the one for the cartoon show? Neat!
Is that from Future State Gotham?
PLUS ONE! Someone joined me! :)
I definitely hope that we'll get a nice long (at least 2 year) run out of this book! I am liking the creative team, so I hope they stick around too - I know they want to, based on interviews.
I thought it was a pretty decent conclusion, too. The fakeout reminded me a lot of The Dark Knight Rises, which made me smile. :)
Man, the delay of Mary Marvel's miniseries is killing me. :(
That being said, I'm SUPER pumped for Black Adam! I really hope we can all buy it so it can get a second season or more Priest...
Yeah, I think it was new information. Sad day.
Very cool stuff, but very bummed to hear it's just 12 issues. A good length, but I wish it was ongoing. :( Maybe we can get a season 2!
Indeed! And Crystal! (And her sorta big sister/mom figure Babs!)
I really hope so!
The Worlds Without a Justice League stories are AUs - like the Tom King Superman getting to have Jon grow up with him story. So Steph being Spoiler isn't necessarily a...
Looks really awesome! I continue to be very excited for this book!
Steph looks hilariously sassy here. Love it!
I'm very excited about Sandoval on art, too, though I kinda wish Carlo Pagulayan would come along from Deathstroke, at least for some fill in issues! :)
I personally really love the way the run ended with Wonder Woman doing flyovers to protect the refugees, and Red Lion musing about the "just us" league and how Diana is a symbol that they are more...
Well, part of not being a fan of the JL is that the voices aren't very firmly ingrained into my brain, so I don't mind the changes. I'm here for Priest's voice, similar to how I enjoy Tom King and...
Yeah, I kind of think Priest's run was definitely for people who don't really like JL. I really liked the workplace setup, and the grittier personal interaction stuff. Even though the Jessica kissing...
There was a lot of excitement going in, but I think most people just found it too off kilter.
I still think it was pretty great. But I don't like most JL runs.
I'm pretty sure most people didn't like it, actually. I've only found a few people like myself who liked that run.
It's a 3 part story.
That is...a lot. And really seems to be a lot of pretty personal attacks. Fairly gross.
In her first arc in Detective Comics, she was supposed to be a bit confusing, so you wouldn't know who she was. But I think they started drawing her much more obviously female in a few years.
Completely agree. Katana wasn't bad, Miracle Molly doesn't have THAT distinct a voice yet, but Shiva was awful. I don't have context for Ghost, but she was really obnoxious, actually saying "red...
