I agree he shouldn't be overly grim. Adam West is too far the other way.

In any non elseworlds continuity, has anyone else been Batman other than Bruce, Dick, Jean Paul and Jim Gordon ?
Seconded. I would argue they are so important that it is ludicrous that they are sold separately.
I think there is room for both... he doesn't deal with loss well. He is friendly batman, then something bad happens like Dick leaves or Jason dies or Sasha dies and he becomes the broody jerk pushing...
Villian, sympathetic, wants to save plants but takes it too far, prioritises plant life over human life.
Is humanoid looking but green and inhuman. Fully clothed. Not just a hyper-sexualised...
I would do something similar to Ultimate Spiderman with every property.
Restart everything, starting from origin story, do a greatest hits of all the most famous events again for a new...
Everyone has already said it, but I like the Dini stories.
What I really want to happen now, is for someome to make a Batman TV show as good as season 1 of Daredevil.
Hi. Can anybody recomend any books about DC. Like not DC comic books, but books about the writers and the company and the history of it all.
I was reading Grant Morrison's sort-of autobiography...
It seems like such an important part of the story, essentially how the hero defeats the villian, that it just sort of comes a bit out of nowhere to my untrained eyes.
I just reread Final Crisis, and near the end they say Darkside always hated music.
Why ?
Are there any examples of this?
Had a google but can't find anything.
I do, I take them off while I'm reading as they slip up and down too much, and then as I take them on and off they get all tatty.
I liked the Burton movies in the 90s when I was younger, but I watched them back recently and find them really uncomfortable. Theres such a weird porongraphic vibe to them.
Definitely in the comics, I just mean while technology hasn't caught up to allowing Atlantis to look good.
I didn't think Atlantis cooked bad in the cinema, but when I saw it again on DVD it...
How about that New 52 arc where Atlantis invades america ?
Aquaman was a very succesful movie. Then just add in a buncha Justic Leaguers and shazam reacting to a flooded america.
Invasion - Secret No More
I really loved this film. I like the DCEU, but this is way better than any other DCEU film. Its like a proper film, its a foster family film, an xmas film, a teen comedy and a super hero film all...
I just watched this again for the first time since the cinema.
I really like it.
The cgi in any underwater scene is bad, but the acting, costumes, music, tone, editing, pace, story and feel...
I personally wouldn't go see this unless it got really good reviews and good word of mouth from people I know in real life. I would prefer this was released at a different time from all the DCEU...
Maybe it a timing issue due to the Hush Movie coming out?
Or maybe because its just popular and iconic and people are willing to pay it?
I would definitely like more Reaper in my life.
30.
Although I dipped in and out of comics multiple times throughout life, I've only been properly a full on proper fan since about 2012.
Bit of a mish mash of everything
I would love to see it ressurected, but have no talent and couldn't tell you how.
My best guess, is to just do another Batman Eternal / Batman and Robin Eternal... hell, even call it Batman...
I would like something like Bruce, at age 26; adopts Dick at like 13, tells him he is Batman at like 14, trains him until 16 and lets him actually come along at 16.
Dick becomes nightwing at 21.
