Good to know, I was holding out for a reprint of vol 2 as well :)
I actually picked up the Sin City library editions when Big Damn first came out, some people were offloading their LE to 'upgrade'. The library editions are way more readable than that big damn block...
The glue of the individual signatures to the backing is coming loose on mine. This happened immediately so if you haven't had this issue yet it hopefully won't happen to you.
Based on that description it definitely sounds like Bianca. It's one of my favorite books of his but it's definitely light on making sense ;)
That's pretty unlikely, largely depending on what you have of course ;)
I sold all my single issue 2 years ago and I am glad I did, even if I didn't get that much money for them. they were just...
Thx! I only have French and Dutch editions aside from the English ones, even then it's gotten a bit out of control with different versions of the same stuff (colour and B&W). The oversized Dutch...
Ah, is it that one, I knew it existed but I didn't know it was bigger than the original French version.
What did you include in the custom bind, The 6 Caliber Press Moebius comics? Transe Forme is a...
That's a really solid Moebius collection you have there, pretty much all his stuff as far as I can make it out. What are the blue and red books on the opposite ends of the French "Inside Moebius"...
Mine has the wavy dustjackets as well and the dustjacket for vol.6 is slightly misaligned. Not something that would make me return them but it does temper my enthusiasm a bit. I have now just placed...
Do you mean the two library sets that were published a few years ago? The quality of those is excellent, the only minor niggle I have with those is that they printed the original covers of the single...
Cool! I didn't even know that edition existed :)
It definitely looks the same as the one you've linked.
What do you mean by the "Painfully limited edition"? If you mean the Graphitti Designs HC, then this isn't that one. The Graphitti Designs version is all black with a matte finish.
My copy of the first volume does't have a texture on the top half, just a slick matte finish. The bottom half does have a texture tough. Strange that they went with this golfball like texture for the...
Love and Rockets is quite different from Clowes' work, although there are some similarities in the shorter stories. The easiest way to read love & Rockets is by getting the Love rockets Library SC's....
Does your copy of the Crepax book have a rough texture on the top half of the cover? I just received my copy and I'm not 100% sure if it's a defect or by design. The first volume didn't use this...
The first album is a little rough around the edges but from "The City of a Thousand Planets" onwards it's excellent with great art by Mezieres
Wikipedia probably explains it better than I can but to add to that:
The first few album are much closer too Spirou style comics art-wise (larger heads and exagerated physique) but the style gets...
It's on it's way ;)
My Haul for the last few weeks. The Serge Clerc Science Fiction collection is probably one of my favourite books published this year, an absolutely beautiful book!

That Haggarth book looks interesting, in French I presume?
Guilty as charged :D
I had this one preordered and it arrived yesterday (#15 of 999). It has the same nice production quality as the earlier volumes; the only negative is that it is missing some...
After looking into it, it's based on a plot by Jodorowsky but written by Jerry Frissen; So me saying that Jodorowsky 'had nothing to do with it' was incorrect. I have no idea how detailed Jodo's...
Jodorowsky has nothing to do with the new series. He isn't working with Humanoids anymore for some reason, that's also why the last 2 bouncer books haven't been translated yet. They're published by...
It's a new story that hasn't been published in English before; it's not written by Jodorowsky but by Jerry Frissen.
Haven't gotten the chance to read them yet but the art is very nice. The publisher is Dutch but all Ineke books are in English. They also sell to clients outside The Netherlands and their shipping...
