Wildcats and Gen 13 are obvious X-men rip-offs, but even those teams have characters like Zealot and Majestic that are even closer rip-offs of Superman and Wonder Woman for example....

Most of them don’t usually get regular roles anyway. Only Hope’s absence surprises me. Mystique and Destiny probably will get a role too.

I can’t see who on the team besides Magik Cyke sees as trustworthy and reliable.

To be fair, they should all be adults by now. And it’s X-men tradition to abandon the younger ones, the NXM in particular are always forgotten.
