The magazines tried selling Daniel Craig's looks as "ugly sexy" but only silly ppl bought it and it is a good thing that Bond is mainly a male franchise not that many fans really cared.

This had more to do with Marvel covering their own ass from criticism of female representation than increasing their female audience. They could have easily used Frankie Ray or other female heralds...

Lifedeath part 1 needed a quick romantic montage in different seasons with Forge and Ororo to sell the "I love you Ororo" I loved the animation for the story and I needed more.
