Wonderful series.
Here's a random wee list I threw together a while back. Some of my favourites

Not the way I went about it. When I started I learned what I could from other fans and my dealer about what arcs are considered the best and let them guide me timber me started. I found it important...
He's clearly a good writer so it's not a knock on his talents but he lost me a bunch of times. It seemed every arc was trying to change the status quo or do something outside the box which is fine...
Single issue....hmm probably The Conversation.
Arc: Kraven's Last Hunt

That's a column I...
I like him being half way between the origin version and the full on monster. Requiem for a killer by Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle is hands down my favourite croc story. It was loosely adapted into...

A list of my favourites. Most are collected in trades.
Devastating. His work with Alan Grant is one of my favourite runs of all time on any comic. He always seemed like a good guy, conversing on social media etc. Awful news
If anyone deserves this series it's you. Thank you for bringing my favourite characters up from the doldrums and making them relevant and fun again!
Wow what a double dose of fantastic Romy news! It's been a long and painful road!.
Check my signature for a list of my favourite Gambit stories, many including Rogue.
For those who missed it in the Romy threw my latest list looks at my favourite Gambit tales. Check my signature for the archive of all my lists
Thanks very much mate. Obviously it's personal taste so not everyone will agree but that's a very kind thing to say. Had a request for Superman now so onto that. Not my strongest point of knowledge...
Yea I understand the frustration. It gave a sense of finality to the arc though and there are a million worse things that could have happened considering they didn't like him as a character. Going...
Same regarding the bizarre love triangle. I never liked the arc or any of the Gambit stuff during that run but I always read it as him not doing anything with Mystique. Obviously disagree about...
Yea most people weren't keen on the Laymon series....I don't know why I enjoyed it so much it just clicked. A fun throwaway read. You know, I've never read unlimited so I'll get on that...
Just finished my top Gambit stories list. It's in my signature so feel free to have a wee look of you fancy. All personal opinion of course.
My flatmate at the time it was running was obsessed with it and constantly told me how amazing it was. I tried several times and just couldn't stop into it. A lot of the fanboy style references were...
I'm happy with him not being the main focus of a team. Whenever he gets too exposed they start Romeo really stupid shit with him so the occasional arc and the constant involvement in the team is...
Meh, not every character can be necessarily great imo but when he's done well it's really really good. I'm not saying it's the only reason people dislike him or that anyone who dislikes himmhas that...
After years and years of being disappointed by the way writers have treated Gambit it seems like he's actually getting some love these days. It's certainly the best it's been in a long time anyway...
It's a weird one, he's definitely over exposed but it's become hip to hate on him because he's so popular and brings in a lot of casual fans. many hardcore fans hate that which is a bit silly. He's...
Really enjoyed Liu's X-23, really emotional.
Loved volume 3 of X-force that ran through the hope saga
I was a huge fan of X Factor investigations.peter David is a wonderful writer with an excellent knack for dialogue
The Gambit stuff was pretty dire as was most writer's takes on him since but Kelly is such an excellent and fun writer that it's no surprise that his run was enjoyable. He's got a knack for snappy...
I really liked the Clayface one and done issue. Batman stuck in the trap and badly beaten by the court was great
