Well, that's horribly depressing.
If I didn't read another Joker story for the next ten years it would be too soon. Overexposure has killed my interest in most of the Batman line, but none more...

Freakin' finally! I was hoping there would be more, as it didn't exactly conclude with the 12th issue.
He's in a huge bulk of the series. Like the final half to two thirds. Robinson does some super interesting, even quite heartbreaking with the character in it.
It's an utterly amazing series as far...
Solomon Grundy? Clearly you haven't read James Robinson's Starman...
So many great Justice League stories here. Isn't it notable, though, that unless I'm missing something, there's nothing here newer than the Tornado's Path from 2006? I'm not surprised DC cancelled...
Is it just me or are a few of these being released in both paperback and hardback simultaneously?
If so, I really hope this is a trend going forward. I'm sick of waiting years for the paperbacks...
Yup!
Followed, probably, by the Grey Man storyline in Giffen/ Dematteis's Justice League.
I really, really enjoyed the Adam Warren run and the above Adam Hughes two-parter. Also, there was a really quite good Superman/ Gen 13 crossover with really great Lee Bermejo art. Some good Arcudi...
Oh yeah, Justiano, I remember him. I remember that being quite a big thing at the time and his crimes seemed to be pretty much identical to Jones' so that is quite a double standard. And I can't see...
It definitely helps to separate art from artist if the artist is dead - though I still don't want to know why you used Bowie as an example, in this case. But honestly, many great artists were and are...
Yeah, I think this move is 100% valid, but it does suck for the other creators and the readers. Not just here, but the really great artists (whatever happened to Ron Randall?) he worked with in those...
Great stuff!
I don't have the time to read Star Wars novels, so I've been hoping for years to get a comics adaptation of the next Thrawn novel.
Excellent, emotionally satisfying finale.
But, um, there is a season 2, right?
Seriously major props to Filoni and crew for not just making easily my favourite Star Wars series since the...
He genuinely would be. I mean, he's already played like 5 comic book characters so why not another one?
Yeah I wasn't sure myself whether they were chanting or if it was the soundtrack at the time, but I read that it was after the fact. Either way, pretty strange - though I am intrigued by the idea of...
Indeed. He is absolutely brilliant here.
I haven't watched Rebels yet so seeing Thrawn on screen for the first time since first reading about the character in the early 90s, was something else....
Thanks for this! Spurrier gives a hell of a good interview and he's clearly super intelligent. He also seems to be very much on the right track with Wally, especially as he acknowledges not only...
I've never seen Rebels and am only halfway through the first season of Clone Wars (yeah, took me long enough, I know) so I was worried I would be lost here, but fortunately, nothing could be further...
I read the Kingdom many, many years ago and I remember it being... fine. Some of the one shots were pretty good, some pretty weak but mostly it was pretty underwhelming. Worth getting in paperback,...
The Starman omnibuses are things of beauty. Sucks that they went out of print so quickly.
I'm enjoying this show a lot, though mainly for Jackson, Mendelsohn and Coleman - seriously what a cast!
But yeesh, the minute you start thinking about it, it really falls apart. Especially, as...
Pixar has been on a downward spiral for years now. Ever since they really started to push out sequels to their greatest films (not including any the first two Toy Story sequels but definitely...
Huh, interesting...
I keep hearing that the full, complete version will only be released on the 16th. Who knows, though? I've been reviewing movies for a while now and this is a new one...
Sure, but once they gave Barry the dead mom origin, it sort of became his story. And while I hate it in the comics (especially the whole Reverse Flash can change time with no repercussions but Barry...
See, I was actually impressed with the story. It's impressively contained and well controlled considering what it's about and is grounded in really solid human stakes.
But Miller has always been...
