I'd go with the comic book sized DC Special Series issues from the 70s.

Each was a standalone issue with 68-80 pages.

Might be better to get appraisals of your books before they're slabbed. Loads of mid-grade 60s books that can be found on Ebay for a few bucks each won't be good contenders.

Well a regular copy will suffice for that...and yes, content is important, but when you're a reader AND collector, the scarcer editions have some appeal too.

I'll be damned if I let a 1:200 variant slip through my hands as I did with New 52#1. Now you need to spend at least $800 or so to get a NM copy. So I've only got 1.

All regular bags are 6 7/8 inches x 10.5 for regular 36 page comics. If you have a bigger comic, it's better to use a silver-age size bag (7 x 10).

I'm 97% there. The slow down is simple, I collect high-grade and high grade single-digit issues cost a bundle....
