Kamala returning to find Miles dating someone else could cause jealousy she wasn't aware she'd feel, which in turn pits her against Gwen in some way or another. With Miles caught in the middle.

Might be she has the potential to be the smartest person in the world. Or she is the smartest, just doesn't have the experience to back it up yet. Dunno. I'd have preferred she not just be given that...

I'd add Kraven's daughter, Ana. Maybe include Calypso in some capacity, perhaps an ally to Otto if not an actual member. Ana has beef with Calypso, but she's also representing the Kravinoff family...

I liked Superior Otto, he had a few redeeming qualities, but the guy was still evil. Just not *as* evil.
