I was very interested up until about halfway through the Dark Knight tie-ins being released, then I began to see how formulaic they were.

Peaked too early at the start (Red Death, Murder Machine)...

That would of been 20-odd pages worth reading.

Leading up to his one-shot, Murder Machine was presumed to be a composite of Batman and Cyborg. Turns outs Cyborg wasn't although he did have an unwilling hand in Murder Machine's "birth".

So yes...

As Murder Machine proved, I don't think its as simple as the initial "Batman & JL member merge" idea that the teaser imagery made it out to be.

Earth-32 in the Multiverse is the one with Bat-Lantern. Neat little easter egg!

It's been a while since I've read Forever Evil, but that sounds about right.

The current events of Flash could of been before the events of Red Death took place, or I suspect they were ignored for this issue. It's the current Flash writer who did this issue as well wasn't it?

It'll be interesting going into this one already knowing the origin of Murder Machine - thanks to Snyder revealing it in interviews.

Though the issue starts on Earth-0, I'm pretty sure i'll jump...
