Finally got around to picking up issue 2 and also picked up the Ravine series (which were published over here as European style graphic novels by Dark Dragon publishing.)
Ravine so far hasn't been...

Casey's Wildcats.
Gen13 was a fun team, Adam Warren's run is probably the best the team ever was and there was a bootleg series that had some interesting issues.
ThiefHookups pretty much explained the backstory of...
Like I said in the other thread (and on the Classics board), really liked the first issue and eagerly looking forward to the rest of the series.
Is there any other work (writing/art) by Stjepan...
Succes in comics and succes in movies are usually pretty far apart. Blade didn't have a comic at the time, but did get 3 movies and TV-series. We're getting a Big Hero Six animated movie and I can't...
Wanted to pick up this and Spread this week. They didn't have Spread anymore, but I quite liked this. I think the number of characters for a first issue was just fine, no need to introduce everybody...
How did I demonstrate it with DoFP? Trailers and pre-release content looked terrible, had 92% on RT, thought "hey, maybe it's good afterall" and liked it a lot.
RT, like metacritic is just a useful tool. I don't have the time or the money to experience everything myself, so it's nice to have something to act as a quick filter for stuff that I'm on the fence...
Asterix, Donald Duck, Suske&Wiske, Lucky Luke. One of those four (my parents had quite a collection of those.) Maybe a Spirou, Chlorophylle or Vieux Nick, but they had less of those so unlikely.

Bradley Cooper in the A-team was basically Grifter.
Generally, after the Crash of 2005 we entered the Third Age, so this is the Fourth World I guess.
OTOH big week for (though it includes a few earlier weeks)
Moon Knight, Miracle Man, new Spirou, new XIII, an old Blacksad that I still didn't got around to pick up, Captain Marvel, Avengers TPB...
Even though I disagree, that's still 1 line of comics (which wasn't even a line so much during the 90s.)
Sad to hear about Mayall's death. I know that the quad-bike accident hit him hard, but it was 16 years ago so I wonder how much of a factor it still could have been. In his own words:
Oh, he had many, much to the irritation of his team-mate Private Pouch.
That's Boy Redundant Lad to you, mister!
The last episode is great, also the fridge episode, mushroom samba and episode 5 (church).
Anime, think sci-fi meets crime noir.
Take your Canvas Bags, Super!
"I once got shanked by Johnny Cash*!"
*= (I know Cash never actually served time, but that was the first name that came to mind.)
We're talking about the recent 13-issue series "My War Gone By". It has nothing in common with the previous Fury MAX series by Ennis (except for a certain one-eyed soldier). It's not in continuity,...
A Game of You.
When I started the list, I thought it was just current comics (which would explain the absence of Strangers in Paradise for instance), but it had some older comics on it as well....
