Storm is never going to live this down. Defending the people who genocided her race? Her...
Until the X-Men become a survival horror franchise, this is not a good idea.
The lowest Bendis' X-Men ever went was 45k and that was a one-time thing on the 34th issue on a book. Lemire is reaching that in the second story arc.
I don't know how it's possible to turn a genocidal cloud of gas into a compelling story, especially since the releasers of said cloud are editorial darlings and the supposed characters to root for.
BTW sorry I forgot to remove MS Word's underling. xD

Analysis:
What it tells us is that the seer/lynchpin of the event is an Inhuman and that this is attempt #19347 to make them happen.
Same reason why collateral damage was suddenly mold breaking in the first Civil War: to fabricate a forced conflict.
Medusa was going to release universal terrigen during War of Kings, so this "well, only BB should be held accountable!" is nonsense. If she was aware of his machine, she would've pulled the trigger...
According to the CBR article it's UXM vs. EXM and not X-Men vs. Inhumans.
You're right, other heroes don't fight each other, certainly not in this Civil War II title which is certainly not a sequel to another Civil War title.
They are cowards too. If they side with Medusa in this event they'll be traitorous cowards.
Seems more like they're a bunch of cowards who continue to hang out in their van while mutantkind is dying.
Storm siding with Medusa would just continue her winning leadership streak.

Inhumans beware, Magneto is coming for you.
Remember that time when Humpries said Marvel went "all-in" with the various Black Vortex developments?
Blame Lemire for turning her into OML's Lolita.
Let's Make Phoenix Great Again
She's been appearing in Howard for a while. But that book is LAME. A disservice to Gerber.
If the way he talks about her in interviews is anything to go by, then her failing leadership is unintentional.
Storm's leadership is the worst thing that has happened to mutantkind after Wanda Maximoff and the Inhumans.
When have they ever done that???
That's more like how Marvel did Agents of SHIELD with nothing but original characters.
Marvel is launching a new iniative where they reprint ANAD book and sell them for cheap to bolster the line:...
Also, Xavier in this movie doesn't want his students to fight. So the battle gear probably comes from "freedom fighter" Mystique.
