I can get on board with either them moving Garfield to the MCU or letting Sony exist as it's own thing. The only real disappointing outcome for me would be to have Garfield replaced.

I rewatched both films (ASM+2) this past weekend and I have to say, this all sounds really like Sony making a mountain out of a mole hill. The movie made a ton of money worldwide. ASM is a good film...

I'll be really disappointed if Garfield is out. I really like him as Pete. He certainly gives off a vibe of Ultimate Pete on screen to me.
