What has my wife done now?
This is my favorite book out right now. To me it just feels the most traditional comic book title on the stands. I love that Billy's dad's name is C.C. and the Eaglesham art is phenomenal.
Has no one mentioned Mongul's "Earth will be my toilet" line, LOL why does Bendis write like this
Some delays on his books announced recently so I'd say yes he's fallen behind.
Someone else writing Action might allow Bendis to put most of his concentration in the Superman book which could only improve it
I love the run, I just feel with those numbers on vol 1 and a lot of odd politics at DC with Geoff Johns it's an easy out to cancel the rest.
But yes, I think the fat tpbs are actually the best...
Add to the next "orphaned omnibus line" list
This is just Bendis being a bad writer and rehashing what he wrote on Daredevil
This is essentially the reading I have of the whole situation with power politics at play behind the scenes. It will probably only ever be confirmed 30 years from now when someone writes a DC behind...
For what its worth I think it's more likely than not there are backstage shenanigans with release dates being used against Geoff Johns. You don't go from A+ talent to being unable to finish a...
With how decompressed Bendis writes, it would actually be a good thing to have both books deal with the same story to actually advance the narrative at a quicker pace.
Action Comics 1 has a "Doomsday Clock" countdown of its own

Has anybody mentioned Superman Animated Series/Superman Adventures version of Supergirl? That's my pick.
Hickman is doing the main title "X-Men" after HoX and PoX. He's co-writing New Mutants with Ed Brisson.
I'm assuming the Hickman books are the only ones that are going to really "matter" in terms...
Check out Superman: The Power Within TPB
Really hoping DC doesn't pull their usual shenanigans and stop at the one yard line.
Has there been any solicitation for Flash by Mark Waid Book 7 yet?
My conspiracy theory brain is saying after the internal shakeup at DC with Geoff Johns being demoted or whatever actually happened, that his stuff is purposefully getting the shaft in some way. At...
I loved the art/coloring on these past two issues
We got a Lois book that's, based on the first issue, about current day politics which I can do without. We got a Jimmy book that is going to be typical Matt Fraction.
"The only thing he missed the...
I've had enough of the Scott Snyder/Tom/King Bendis era of DC
Much more looking forward to Batman: Curse of the White Knight
Superman family of books didn't need rejuvenating, they are worse now with Bendis involved. And bringing in an Ultimate Marvel twist and consolidating DC organizations hoping they're replaced by...
Only once he's gained near universal approval by the fans
I'd agree with that too.
I'm not referencing anyone in this thread specifically so hopefully no one takes it that way.
Completely agree. Bendis' Superman has been awful. I strongly suspect a lot of positive internet reviews that constantly defend every issue are from people who DESPISED nuclear family Super-Dad w/...
