Of course Xavier and especially Magneto know that Mystique is going to turn on them...and Mystique knows they know this :) So that will be an interesting final confrontation when it inevitably comes

watching Brandon and Tom only causes me to double down how much I loathe the current casting for Lois and Clark.
I was most hyped for this book when it was first announced and man has that enthusiasm been squashed. This book is boring and I could care less about half the cast.
Hickman tweeted recently that he was doing everything possible to get fired from the X book and I can safely say with this latest issue, he is 100% not kidding haha
I love hickman and yu. Ill preface it with that. But this is...off. And having a team of XMen taken out by some geriatric botanists was something I would think be reserved for a Cracked parody strip....
Love how creepy and foreboding this story is. We continue to have Xaviers faced cropped, even when hes not wearing his helmet. Making the entire human race pay for the price of the few has turned...
I bought this for the art...as I have with much of this title for the last year. Although I bowed out about 6 months ago and came back for Alfreds death and this issue being drawn by Clay Mann. I was...
Hickman has sorta just given the MCU a clever way to introduce mutants and still have them always having a place in the MCU going back years (if they decided to go that route)
Some of the best...
between this and the Xstatix special from a couple of weeks ago....I am FINALLY excited to read X books again. Whatever Marvel has to pay Hickman to keep him as long as possible, man, freaking do it
There also wasn't some big 4 day long announcement before he got in the door.
well, its the internet...griping is going to happen regardless of what they do with the book. its a moot point, the announcement felt tacky to some, and they're sharing their voice. Why argue...
WebslingWonder: dude...we get it, you're boning for JJ. Rather than reply to everyone who you don't agree with, accept the fact there's a sizable number of readers who found the way this was...
a very tone deaf announcement from Marvel. And the way it was done? It was clearly a reacharound for JJ and son
I bet you anything this will be completely written out of canon within the next 3 or so years.
Nah, its a stupid death. And needless.
Exactly...and one of many reasons I simply don't bother reading any X Books anymore, only Marvel could figure out how to completely kill my interest in a line of books that were my bread and butter...
I noticed ol Loki getting the cosmic cube...and there being no follow up on that in the film lol. No scene is an accident, so I can only assume this will be addressed in another movie. It will be...
The Superman titles have been really good. I was, and kinda still am, against the aging of Jon, but its been a solid read for the most part. Same with Action. I'm digging Detective Comics as well and...
I'm sure its been touched on, but I also cringed at the scene where Wally decides to creep on everyone's files. I understand he's having a breakdown with his kids still missing and huge chunks of his...
The only consolation I can take is that the fans are furious with this character assassination and DC will likely retcon it or find some plot device that excuses all of it within the next 3 or so...
I preface this with that I still love those early issues of Youngblood that Rob drew and even devoured his return to Cable lo those many years ago after Extreme studios went the way of the do-do. I...
Its funny Marvel even has a relationship with him after this tit for tat with Tom

The success of the Deadpool...
well, the art and coloring look fantastic. I will probably pick this up for the art alone
Only the current Marvel could figure out a way to kill all my interest for the return of one of my favorite titles featuring the return of some of my favorite characters. Glad I thumbed through it...
love the art but I'm not on board. I was enjoying the Superior Doc Ock book, it was nice to see some genuine growth for his character and an Alex Ross designed suit that was perfect for Otto. This...
