I've had the ''Watchmen Collector's Edition Hardcover (Slipcased)'' on my comic book wish list for some time now. Today I found a deal online and decided to buy it, but the image that shows on the DC...
I remember being confused when reading Batman comics at the end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s. Being a little kid in The Netherlands at the time I didn't read a lot of the comics, but I was...

Not to the the extent that Gotham Central does, but it does show some of the inner workings of the GCPD (with commissioner Gillian Loeb, detectives Arnold Flass, Sarah Essen, Merkel, Branden and...
Right! I forgot about that one.
I agree. So, I would like to know if there are also examples of criminals that ever did get the death penalty in Gotham City.
Also, the fact that the majority of the villains goes through Arkham Asylum tells us that they are mentally deranged and therefore would not be eligible for the death penalty, right?

Well, I like Batman and I love the 1989 movie, so for me it is a fine Batman movie, despite the flaws pointed out in the video.
Exactly what I was thinking when I read the thread title. ;)
Dan DiDio.
Just kidding. Prime, for sure.

Batman: The Doom That Came To Gotham
Batman: Nine Lives
Batman & Dracula: Red Rain
Batman: Ego
Also, Batman: Black & White (Vol. 1-4) has a couple of good stories.

Just bought the Blu-ray steelbook edition of Batman 1989, just because it's so pretty. The Blu-ray and DVD box sets are already mine, but hey, it's Batman 1989!
