You know this could have been much worse. Something flying at Mach 3 goes a little more then half a mile per second...the air defense monitors are only 25 miles out...so how do you respond in less...

She only has so much control...and her main way of makeing a drastic change is to tell people the truth...she has done that twice. So i dont think they "let" anything happen as much as they took what...
