Do we know why Starlord is suddenly blonde yet?

Personally I like him more as a blonde.

There was the chick whose mutant ability was to set herself on fire. But her ability didnt give her immunity to fire. So she either burned to death or had 3rd degree burns all over her body.

At the least it seems like her ascension to the White Hot Room and becoming the White Phoenix of the Crown has been forgotten. I thought she had achieved mastery over the Phoenix and was gathering...
