well, i am LOVING the rebirth stories, frankly I think they are on the right track.
Superman does not need to be "fixed", he just needs good stories, and we are getting good stories right now.

I prefer Routh to Cavill myself.

but I see, moments, that Cavill impresses me. I think he isn't a great superman yet, but MAY be, if the movies improve.

Kingdom Come, superman secret identity, New Frontier, and Marvels, in that order.

those are the ones I keep going back to read and reread over and over.

I would like them back. I actually thought that was Pa Kent in a robe in early issues of supes couple of years ago, but now that may be ozymandias?

fandom is NOT broken.
the way we discuss things is broken, due to the anonymity of the internet.
this is affecting ALL of society, so laying it at the feet of fandom is a cheap shot.

i have really enjoyed the rebirth titles so far, glad they are doing well.

on a whim I purchased civil war when picking up my comics this week. didn't care for it.
story just did not work for me.

I really enjoyed the First Wave comics DC did a few years back, had Doc and the Shadow and other pulp heroes existing along with Batman.

I had just added this to my pull list, as I was excited to see cap back, but it is dropped for me now.
it just goes so against 75 years of character, and I get no enjoyment out of reading it.
