I believe in ish #17, the finale, he bathed in the Lazarus Pit and was restored to life, so no longer a servant of the Court. Of course, it’s been damn near 10 years, so I might be misremembering.

It’s not capitalized, so I hope it’s the Bloodlines hero. Outside of Hitman, he was probably the best thought out hero, no doubt due to Waid creating him, IMO.

Here’s another one which just popped into my mind: The Janissary from JLA Annual Planet DC. Brian S. Vaughan was setting Etrigan up to be her archenemy.

Argus — the Bloodlines character. Always worked well with Flash. And his identity as undercover law enforcement lends itself to storylines.
