Have you seen Tomorrowland?
I was starting to grow a little impatient with this storyline, but it's now clear that the wheels are turning and we're actually heading towards a specific endgame.
Looking forward to seeing where...
Agreed. As underwhelming as a lot of Bendis's DC output ended up being, he co-created Batman Universe and made Jimmy Olsen, Wonder Twins, and Dial H For Hero possible.
That's a fair trade off in...
I’ve updated the Modern Age to include Robin and WarWorld Superman

Don't worry, Mark was mercifully killed off.
It really depends on how it's handled. If Molly was aware of Alan's secret the whole time, then it's a very different story than Alan marrying her but lying to her about his true self all those years...
I think we're currently in the "avoid Molly at all costs" stage of Alan's coming out because if that relationship isn't handled exactly right then Alan's going to come off as a tremendous asshole.
Ha! I see what you did there. Smart omission ;)
Well, that goes without saying...
I also loved Hypertime, but, much like "Everything Happened", few creators (or fans) can wrap their minds around what it actually is.
Thanks for posting this, it was an interesting read and a well-reasoned and eloquent response by PKJ to this.
It's unfortunate that Twitter amplifies the worst elements of human discourse because...
I cannot deny that Marie Javins has overseen more investment in the WW franchise than any other editorial regime in DC history.
Now that the Arrowverse is winding down, I think the comics should bring in Sara Lane as Black Canary's time-hopping half-sister from an alternate Earth and replace Rip Hunter, who has always been...
We're about a year and a half into DC's current "Everything Happened" approach to its twisty turn-y oft-rebooted contradictory 80+ year old continuity. Surprisingly, the most recent Crisis is...
To be fair, sales success in monthly issues is only one small factor in the larger machine these days. The bookstore market, digital sales, readership numbers on DC Infinite, and potential for...
Supergirl has always struggled to sell. And the goes for Blue & Gold. And it didn't help that neither of those books were particularly compelling. I dropped both after the first issue. I can't...
Agreed, which is why DC relies so heavily upon Bat-books, but prior corporate/editorial regimes were smarter about how much they relied upon that franchise. The current one is leaning on it far more...
I'm really digging what Adams has established in regards to Wally and even more impressed how he's managed to savage something worthwhile from Wallace by giving us a genuine Flash/Kid Flash dynamic...
You know what DC could really use more of right now? Bat-books.
Seriously, the lack of long-term thinking here is kind of staggering. If you flood the market with books selling only one flavor of...
Particularly since Webtoon's readership is substantially larger than the current superhero comic.
I wouldn't be so sure of that. Bruce's "girlfriends" are mostly for show and Dick, despite his ladies man reputation, has mostly been in committed relationships with Babs and Starfire.
That said,...
Yes. Hal has a collection of girlfriends, human and otherwise, longer than anyone else in the DCU that I know of. All Morrison did was push that even further by having Hal date an alien nurse that...
Ever forward. Take what worked from the past, yes, but keep moving forward.
As long as something is wearing lipstick, Hal would want to *&%$ it, essentially, regardless of whether or not said sentient being is actually female.
That looks pretty awesome.
