Happy birthday Nightcrawler (and the late, great Dave Cockrum)!
Hi all.Long time, no post.
Does anyone have any recommendations on anything the fuzzy elf is currently appearing in?
Hi guys. I was just peeking in to see if Nightcrawler was getting any love in the books yet. I
I'm here, lurking and waiting to see when the fuzzy elf surfaces again.
Yeah, I don't have any reason to pick up any books right now, so I rely on reviews to see if that status changes.
Yeah, I'm not seeing him on any lineup so the new era or whatever will be a pass for me, unless that changes.
This was really well done. I want McGuire on a longer running X-Men book.
Yes, they did seem close. I took it as Claremont teasing shippers.
I prefer them as friends, too.
Soon, I hope. I'd love to see that happen.
I enjoyed the issue. It was nice seeing he and Kitty being written as the close friends they once were.
That too
Well, as far as we know, he still can't die. If they resolve that plotline only to kill him, I'll be pissed. I'm guessing it's either a stage scene or a grievous injury he'll recover from.
Yeah, the Draco seemed like it made Kurt an untouchable for awhile. I know Austen messed up Paige, too (poor girl).
There's some of his backstory I wish they'd scrap or tweak or something.
This. She started out fine as a kid with wings and pixie dust, and then they changed her for whatever reason to be a peppy pink Magik.
Being a pet character, as others have said and it started...
Yeah, this is solid characterization for him. I like this take on Meg, as well, very much.
I enjoyed it, as well. Meg as the pursuer is a nice touch, given the history. I also liked how Meg was the one talking about the importance of pop culture in society and the role it plays. It ties...
This one ^^
but I wouldn't be opposed to some from this one, either:
They don't need to glut the line, like in the books. Keep a core cast.
I have no interest in the TAS version at all.
Maybe so. Per another post:
For people who aren't interested or invested in Cyclops and Wolverine, I guess.
I'd love to see Nauck on another Nightcrawler book.
I expect it will flop spectacularly without the classic roster, just like the follow up iterations did.
I do agree the artist is talented, even if I'm not a fan of his/her interpretation of him

I'm also enjoying the art.
And the preview for AN#2
I like Kurt having a life separate from the X-Men and wanting to keep it that way.
...
I like that picture, even though the artist got a lot of flak, if I remember right.
I suppose the picture we were all commenting on just reminds me of someone smarmy, and that's not how I see Kurt...
Me too. This one reminds me of the devil from Nightcrawler's Inferno.
