Default PREfenders: The Cast Of Marvel’s Defenders (Before The War For New York)

    Article here: http://www.cbr.com/cast-of-defenders-before-netflix/

Krysten Ritter "most recognized for her starring turn in the short-lived but beloved Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23," and not for Breaking Bad?

Who writes this nonsense with a straight face?

It's true about Ritter, though. In Breaking Bad she was a supporting character with very few episodes, on what used to be a niche cable channel. The sitcom had her in a leading role on a major network -- you really can't get much more visible than that on TV. Sure, anyone can make the case that her work on Breaking Bad was superior (it was by far the better show and had a far greater impact, no argument there), but the sitcom gave her a lot more exposure and gave the experience of being the leading lady that would carry a show by herself, which would be necessary for Jessica Jones.

Essentially, as good as she was in Breaking Bad and as renowned as that show is, Ritter would have needed to show that she had the chops to play a central, titular role to get the job.
